Ignite & Write
Small Group Coaching
I hear it a million times a week – everyone has a book in them – and I believe that they do. But while every single person on this planet has the ability to write a book, not many understand what a powerful and transformative journey becoming an author can be. They may also find themselves stuck in analysis paralysis, unable to write the first chapter of their book because they are unsure how to ‘do it right’. The Ignite and Write Small Group Coaching guides you through the foundational steps required to build an engaging chapter outline for a book that has the power to transform you, your business and the lives of your future readers.
Why join Ignite & Write?
No matter how intelligent, articulate or charismatic you are, there is something about the unknown that can be utterly terrifying. Where do you start? How does it all work? What do you include? How do you publish? There are so many working parts to releasing a book that it can feel too overwhelming to even start. The only problem with this is that your unique perspective and powerful message remains cooped up inside you and not out in the world where it could be changing lives.
What to expect
By joining the intimate Ignite and Write small group coaching day, you will be introduced to The Phoenix Phenomenon® ACT process, which provides clear and easy steps to build strong foundations for your book manuscript. You will become aware of the inner self talk that can hold you back from writing your book and become more empowered than ever before to reach your goal. You will also feel more connected to yourself, your story and your audience, which will propel you through any future hurdles to becoming the author you’ve always dreamed of.
You will have greater clarity of your purpose for writing a book, you know how meaningful it is to share it with the world and you will be at peace with your past and you present so you are ready to launch into a great future. All of this will be achieved in a focused setting among like-minded people over six hours of connection.
Is this for me?
I won’t sugar coat it, writing a book is not a walk in the park, but everything you need to be successful is already within you and this coaching session will help you to uncover your own wealth of knowledge and experience. This group is for you if you already have a non-fiction book idea and you have the dedication and passion that requires some guidance and knowledge to steer you in the right direction.
Still not sure?
Right now you have a choice. You can choose to remain where you are, with your dream of authorship never becoming a reality. Or you can take action! Imagine your book becoming the very thing someone needs to inspire positive action in their own lives. Imagine being able to provide it for them and becoming the beacon or the turning point in their life.
It is all possible. It is all within you. All you need is to take action.
If your book covers sensitive topics and you would prefer working one on one with me, you can elect to secure a Power Session. This is a concentrated three hours where we work together to plan out the strongest message of your book. For more information, click here.

Bring along your enthusiasm and passion to get started on bringing your book to life! If you already have book ideas and notes you may already have jotted down that will help with the structure segment, bring them along too. If you haven’t yet created any content, do not worry! We will work together on building those foundations from scratch in the workshop.
Tea, coffee and light snacks are provided. There will be a lunch break so you can BYO or head to a nearby café if you prefer something more substantial.
What makes Ignite & Write different from other workshops is that they are deliberately small, with a maximum of four participants. This is not a workshop where you sit and observe! You will receive one-on-one support and have the opportunity to have your questions addressed while learning how to structure your manuscript to create a book that will inspire and connect with your future readers.
We understand that we live in unpredictable times. If you book to attend a workshop and the borders are closed or your area is mandated into lockdown, please alert the organiser as soon as possible. You will be able to choose whether you wish to transfer your ticket to another in-person workshop date or an online workshop.
Yes! We offer Power Sessions which cover similar ground to Ignite & Write in a one-to-one setting.
If you have begun to write but the progress isn’t happening, you are feeling uninspired or writing your book is becoming a chore, Ignite & Write IS for you! By going back to basics and reviewing your core purpose for writing a book, you will be able to reignite your passion and find the most comfortable way forward – and possibly an entirely new direction – for your book.
This workshop is designed for people wishing to write non-fiction books such as personal memoirs, autobiographies, how-to and informational books for business. It does not cater for fiction novelists or children’s book authors.
Because of the unpredictable times we live in, any in-person workshops that are affected by government-mandated lockdowns will be held online. Participants who have signed up will have resources mailed to them and the workshop will be hosted on Zoom.
