Ignite & Write Hall of Fame

The Ignite & Write Hall of Fame proudly celebrates the authors who chose courage and transformed from first-time writers to powerful thought leaders.

They committed to their stories, found clarity in their message and transformed their lived experiences into books that educate, inspire and empower others. Their books are proof that authorship is not reserved for a select few, it belongs to those willing to show up, write their truth and share something meaningful with the world.

Please note: While Roxanne has worked on numerous successful ghostwriting projects, these works are intentionally excluded from the Hall of Fame in honour of the confidentiality agreements held with private clients. Trust, discretion and protecting each author’s story are foundational values within her practice.

Matthew Horder

‘Working with Roxy and her Ignite and Write colleagues was a positive experience. The supportive and professional environment gave me the confidence to tell a very personal story in my own voice. Roxy’s guidance, patience and genuine care throughout the process made what has been an overwhelming journey more enjoyable and rewarding.

One of my biggest learnings is that sharing vulnerability is cathartic. By opening up about some of the most difficult moments in my life, I discovered the power of storytelling to connect with others, start important conversations and help people feel less alone in their own challenges.

Now that The Day the Sky Fell is out in the world, my hope is that it continues to reach people who need it most. Whether it inspires resilience, creates understanding around grief and loss, or simply encourages someone to keep moving forward, I hope the book leaves a lasting and positive impact on those who read it.’

‘When I first considered writing Talinga, the story within me was vivid, but the path to bringing it to life felt overwhelming. I knew I needed a collaborator not only gifted with words, but also capable of understanding my vision and translating my thoughts into meaningful prose. That’s when I decided to seek the assistance of a ghostwriter. From our very first conversation, Roxanne brought a sense of professionalism, empathy and genuine enthusiasm for the project.

I was immediately reassured by her ability to listen deeply not just to the words I spoke, but to the intentions and emotions behind them.
She asked insightful questions, gently teased out the details that mattered and always showed a remarkable sensitivity to my voice. Over the ten months of working together, she became more than just a writer for hire; she was a confidante and creative partner.’

‘From our first meeting, I found Roxanne an easy person to connect with. She explained everything I needed to know, and when I had questions, she did not hesitate to answer them clearly, as I had never done anything like this before. It is a frightening experience for someone like me who has never had a book previously published. Roxanne was with me every step of the way, encouraging me to continue when all I wanted to do was throw in the towel. Some days I wanted to cry because it became overwhelming at times as I started to compare myself to other authors and worry that my book may not be good enough for the public to read.
Roxanne made sure I was always in control of the whole process and encouraged me to never give up. Roxanne has the ability to innately know what you need; she is invested in doing her best to make you the best.’

‘When I started working with Roxanne, I had written a very raw first draft of my book, House of Shadows. From the start, she added the fuel I needed to ignite my passion and believe in myself and my message.

Her approach was calm and gentle, so I felt supported throughout the process. The day Roxanne presented me a printed version of my manuscript, I was so thrilled that my vision was now a reality.’

‘When my original publisher went bankrupt, my world tumbled down before me. I had lost not just money but my access to my manuscript, my thoughts and beliefs. Roxanne was recommended to me, and what a blessing that was.

So sympathetic to the situation, professional and helpful. I not only trusted her ability to edit and publish my book, but I felt I had found a friend. Now in my hand, I have a book I am very proud of. Thank you Roxanne and the Ignite & Write Publishing team for your guidance in getting my book to such a standard that I feel able to show and share it with others.’

‘I struggled with my writing until I met Roxy. She immediately gave me an identity to fulfill my talent, and her guidance has been invaluable. She also provided me with the confidence to break new boundaries and seek another level with my writing.

Having her by my side every step of the way has made all the difference. She is a terrific mentor, and I am incredibly grateful for all her support. I could not have published two books, one of which has attracted much critical acclaim, without her guidance and advice. I look forward to working with her in future ventures.’

Dr Jodi-Maree Cronin

‘Working with Roxanne through Ignite and Write was one of the most valuable and enjoyable parts of my journey as a first-time author. She is not only a wealth of knowledge, but also a beaming ray of sunshine demonstrating what it’s like to live true to your values. She provided unwavering support from the very beginning through to editing, publishing, launching, and even marketing my book, Benni: The Best Medicine Has Paws. What stood out most was her authentic ability to hold space during the more emotionally challenging parts of the writing process. This helped me navigate the grief and vulnerability that emerged while telling my story.

My biggest learning was discovering just how healing and cathartic writing can be. Through Roxanne’s mentorship, I learned that storytelling not only helps us make sense of life’s darkest moments but can also be a powerful pathway to growth and connection.

Of course I would love to have a best seller, but my vision for the book is grounded in my values. I would like to help as many people as possible to see the potential for a new beginning on the other side of trauma. I will always be incredibly grateful to Roxanne for helping me to bring that vision to life.’

‘Roxanne is truly one of a kind ‒ a thoughtful and highly experienced coach, mentor, author and interviewer. Her curiosity and genuine care for others are always evident and her ever-present smile lights the way for those of us who have had the privilege to work with her. As someone who has benefited immensely from Roxanne’s guidance, I can’t express enough how much she has helped me bring my own book to life.

She has been my go-to person for any writing questions, providing invaluable feedback and support every step of the way. Her ability to help others get unstuck and navigate their journey to becoming authors is nothing short of remarkable. Leah Polwarth

‘After losing my young husband to bowel cancer in early 2021, I had the idea to write down as much as I could remember for our son, Billy. What started as just a ‘nice thought’ and the intention to journal my thoughts, was transformed into the idea of a book after attending Roxanne’s Ignite & Write workshop. In just one day the inspiration and directive Roxanne possessed helped guide my idea into something so much more meaningful and therapeutic.

Roxanne abolished any doubts I had about publishing a book that exposed some of the deepest, darkest thoughts within my heart and soul. Roxanne continuously boosted my confidence and encouraged me to believe that my story was important.

Not only was this a book for my son and my own healing, but for all the people I may be able to help along the way by sharing my story. I can’t thank her enough for her empathy, compassion, encouragement and incredible expertise in teaching people to write with true authenticity and integrity.’
